Meeting five of the season and a fifth venue for the year, I could get used to the change of scenery for each meeting, but I suspect it is going to run out soon. This was my second time at Thunder Valley and my first trip out onto the infield, which I have to say feels quite a safe place to stand. At my previous visit, I think the classes had been National Hot Rods, Superstox, 1300 saloons and ProStocks, this time it was Nationals which only had half a dozen cars, Junior Bangers (whatever they are), which faired little better in car numbers, ProStocks and Ministox which for me had to be the class of the day, the previous meeting I’d been at was definitely a better meeting. For those who haven’t been Lochgelly is a nice small, some would say “proper” stockcar track, and it doesn’t take a lot of cars to have a good race round it, it’s has a family feel about it and it’s a nice neat neat venue with a lot of facilities (such as shelter) that lots of more established tracks lack, worth a visit, and somewhere I definitely like to get to a bigger meeting at, at some point. Approx Car Turnout: 45 cars (6 National Hot Rods, 17 ProStocks, 16 Ministox, 6 Junior Bangers)
