2011 - #8 – Nuttscorner Oval 2/5/2011 |
Another action packed meeting at Nuttscorner Oval, with good grids of cars and great weather.
Wayne Woolsey took the opening round of the 2 Litre Hot Rod Wash ‘n’ Dash series, as well as providing a rare red top win in heat two, after Petie Donnelly had taken the opener.
Thirteen National Hot Rods were in action Ian McReynolds bagging all three races which, including the final which was turning into a bit of an endurance race with only 6 finishers.
The Lightning Rods saw heat wins for Aaron Stewart and Martin O’Flaherty, while Kenny Robinson took his second final win of the season.
Stuart Cochrane took the opening heat in the Juniors, Conor Boyle was awarded the second heat after being spun coming onto the home straight on the last lap, Ben McCully took the Juniors final.
In The ProStocks Steven Haugh took the heat wins before Billy Finnegan Jnr took the final win, which was stopped late on for a pile up on turns one and two. Kellie Martin put her experience in Junior Productions to use taking the win in the Ladies ProStock race
