This week, I managed to put batteries in my camera which makes the night much more successful for me than the previous week. I must admit that I was a bit disapointed that the F2's were taken off the bill for this meeting, as even in low numbers they are more exciting than classic hot rods. Dessie Howard won the Classic Hot Rod Irish championship, John Christie took all three races in the Nationals, which featured a close finish in the final. I can't even recall who won the stock rods, which as disrespectful as it is, sums up how much attention I pay at the racing at times, and when I left the stadium the Gp 2 Irish Championship result was hanging in the balance, and I think anyone who hadn't already gone home stood a chance of being checked and getting on the podium. Next Stop Northampton!
