2011 - #41 - Ballymena Raceway - 14/10/11 |
So, there wa have it, the last meeting at Ballymena for the 2011 season. It doesn't seem more than a few days since I was panicing about getting their website finished for Easter, and the season has already come and gone.
The F2's had their stadium championship, which Conor Highes led from lights to flag, although I think another few laps and Graham Fegan would have been close enough to mount a challenge.
Raymond Harper continued to dominate in the Stock Rods by taking the honours in their Irish Championship.
My ex online racing sparring partner and setup guru, Simon Kennedy, made his first pass in the Slick Cars.
Peter Greer won the juniors king of Slemish, a race which had several leaders, and (#7) someone whose name isn't in the programme sitting on my desk won the Gp Lightning rod final, after two heat wins from someone else (#4) whose name isn't in my programme either, I will admit the programme is a few months old.
Thus bring to a conclusion the Ballymena proceedings for 2011.
