For a few years now Race Retro has been on my radar of events I’d like to get to. In recent years as I’ve joined more and more Group B Rally Car groups on facebook the appeal has grown and seeing Martin Kingston’s photos he posted of last years event helped tip the scales too.

| My First Trip to Autograss |
I’ve been going to Motorsport as long as I can remember, I grew up around F2’s, went with my uncle to all manor of Motorsport when I was growing up, Race meetings, Sprints, Hillclimbs, Rallycross, Rallying, Bikes, Karts, Trials anything with and engine that moved and we went to it. Somehow Autograss was something we never seemed to end up at. I think we went off in search of Autograss a few times, but with vague directions and in poor weather we never found an event and assumed it had been cancelled.

| Donington Grand Prix Collection |
While on my travels in England last week, I managed to call in to the Donington Park Grand Prix Collection.
Situated on the site of Donington Park the collection hosts a number of past Formula one cars and a few other bits and pieces from motorsports past, as well as a war collection.
If your in the area it is well worth calling in and seeing.

| Kirkistown 25/9/2010 |
In September I attended the final Kirkistown meeting of the 2010 season. I think the meeting was the first time the Irish Ginetta Junior class had come to the Co. Down venue and they provided some close racing.
